- Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Ministry Mission
The mission of the Prayer Clinic is captured in II Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land".
Goals & Objectives
. To seek God's face for direction in all things
. To bring forth God's will in the earth
. To develop strong, confident, mature soldiers in the army of God who are effective in spiritual warfare
. To allow the saints of God to develop the gifts of the Spirit residing on the inside of them, by reason of use
. To teach God's children who they are in Christ
. To teach God's children how to allow the Holy Spirit to flow through them, giving glory to God as they realize their individual ministries
. To expose the wiles of the enemy and defeat the forces of Satan, our enemy

- Relevant Ministries
Relevant Ministries is the name of San Jose Word of Faith Christian Center's community outreach effort. This ministry is designed to coordinate and manage volunteer efforts which support existing and new services provided to the immediate community, and beyond. Relevant Ministries addresses the needs of the Gardner community, and other areas of San Jose,
as well as the needs of other Bay area communities. Relevant Ministries' goal is to add to the body of Christ by ministering to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of people. We meet those needs by showing the love of Jesus Christ in action. Our future goals include partnering with businesses and other interested parties that can act as funding sources to work within the guidelines of the ministry.
"But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth."
- I John 3:17-18

We offer a variety of different ways to serve, and reach out to those is need. If you are wondering what your gifts and talents are, this is a great way to find out!

- Creative Health Ministry
The church's healing ministry is as old as Jesus. In the 1980's a grass roots movement grew to embrace many different models, including parish nursing, lay health promoters,
faith-based clinics, healing congregations, participatory health, and specific health initiatives. So successful was the movement that a national Health Ministries Association was established in 1989. San Jose Word of Faith is taking part in this movement through Creative Health Ministries and providing educational material relevant to the community, specific to the areas of
Blood Pressure Management
Diabetes Management
Weight Management.
